School Based Program

The YogaEd. program is a nationally recognized, cost-effective health and fitness program for schools that fulfills the Challenge PE standards. The Yoga Ed. Curriculum provides yoga activities that are appropriate for students of all abilities. In addition to the physical benefits, Yoga Ed. has been shown to enhance student focus, concentration, learning readiness and self-discipline. In this comprehensive curriculum organized for K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and High School, the practice of yoga is integrated with an active, playful and scientific exploration of the body, mind and self – laying the foundation for lifetime wellness by focusing on health and life skills.

The Yoga Ed. curriculum can be taught as an after school program, in conjunction with PE, as a specific classroom activity, or as a community based class.
